Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (RAU) was founded in 1997 as an international public educational institution in accordance with the agreement between the governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia. The University has established a good reputation as an outstanding academic educational institution that prepares highly skilled professionals in a wide range of various fields, who are capable of using their skills and knowledge in any part of the world. Graduates of our university are highly in demand and are respected in the labor market both in Armenia and other CIS countries.

Institute of Economics and Business at the RAU was founded in 2012 according to the order № 01-07/351 by the rector of the university from May 15, 2012. Here is concentrated a unique faculty, consisting of the best specialists of Armenia, with extensive experience in respective fields. Extensive international connections provide students and teachers unique opportunities for mobility. And finally, the educational programs meet all the standards of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Armenia and the European.

The purpose:

To ensure a high level of education programs at all levels of education (undergraduate, specialties, MA), as well as postgraduate and additional professional education.

The objectives:

✓ Train the specialists on lines of activity of the Institute, possessing general cultural and professional competence;

✓ Increase the number of the students at the Institute;

✓ Ensure a high level of educational process, discovery and development of innovative methods of organizing the learning process, and also improving the organizational methods of the educational process;

✓ Conduct fundamental and applied scientific researches;

✓ Promote competitiveness of graduates of the institute in the labor market and their subsequent employment;

✓ Promote the advancement of RAU in the world rankings.

The Student Council of the Institute of Economics and Business is the main organizer of the Institute.
The heart of any university is the Student Council. He is the liaison between students and the university leadership.

The Student Council of Economics and Business is a big friendly family, where everyone has their share of participation. Participation in the life of the Student Council is a profitable investment in yourself. This is an experience that allows you to develop the skills needed in the future: communication skills, diplomacy, the ability to negotiate and defend your own position. Here everyone finds his calling and it is thanks to the work of the Student Council that he reveals his talents.

People often ask: "Why go to the Student Council?" This question can be answered in different ways. But the main advantage is that you better understand people, their motives, actions, positions. This is your chance to find yourself, implement the most incredible ideas, implement the most daring projects, lead people and become a team.

The main task of the IE&B Student Council is to unite students, contribute to the development and prosperity of the educational process both in our institute and in the RAU as a whole, to contribute to strengthening the close relationship between the administration of the institute, teachers and students.
The Student Council does everything to make the student's life rich not only in academic terms, but also culturally. After all, the ability to rest properly is our slogan!
