The textbook corresponds to the content of the course syllabi “Introduction to Economic Theory” (SPbPU) and “Economics” (RAU), developed in line with current educational standards. It contains teaching and methodological materials to support students’ independent work in these disciplines. The textbook is intended for full-time, part-time, and distance-learning students majoring in Economics, Management, Public and Municipal Administration, Trade and other programs at SPbPU’s Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade (IIMET) and RAU.
“This textbook is yet another vivid example of the effective and fruitful cooperation between RAU and SPbPU, particularly between the Institute of Economics and Business and the Institute of Industrial Management, Economics and Trade. Working on this textbook was a very engaging process, and together with our colleagues, we noted the similarity of our approaches and methods in teaching economic theory, particularly for non-economics majors,” shared Irina Petrosyan.
