Brief information (biography)
Was born in Tbilisi in the family of Officer. From 1967-1977 studied in the secondary school N8 after A.S. Pushkin, Yerevan.
In 1977 was admitted to Yerevan Institute of National Economy, Department of Production planning and management, and graduated in 1981 with the degree of Economist-Production Planner. In 1981, started postgraduate study in the Department of Production planning and management of Yerevan Institute of National Economy.
In 1991, received identified degree of Doctor in Economics. In 2002, received scientific position of Associate Professor, PhD in Economics.
From 1987 to 1994 worked as assistant and lecturer of Political Economy in Department of Political Economy of Yerevan State Medical Institute.
From 1994 to 2006 has been acted as Associate Professor in the Department of Management of Yerevan Institute of National Economy, which in 2006 was renamed as Armenian State University of Economics.
From 2006 to 2010, has acted as Head of Chair of Chair of Management in the Armenian State University of Economics, and from 2010 to 2019 is the Head of Chair of Crisis and Tourism Management in the same University.
Simultaneously, from 2002 to the present time is Associate Professor in the Department of Management, Business and Tourism of Russian – Armenian University.Scientific advisor of 10 PhD candidates. Has 2 children.
