Born on August 26, 1959.
In 1980, graduated from the Faculty of Planning and Economics at the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.
In 1984, completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Economics and Automated Governance Systems at the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.
From 1980 to 1985, worked as a junior researcher at the Department of Economics and Scientific Organization of Labor at the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.
From 1985 to 1990, worked as an instructor at the Masnikyan District Committee of the Communist Party.
From 1990 to 1998, worked as an assistant at the Department of Labor Economics at the Yerevan Institute of National Economy.
From 1998 to 1999, served as Chief of Staff to the Minister at the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Armenia.
From 1999 to 2000, served as Chief of Staff to the Minister at the Ministry of State Revenues of the Republic of Armenia.
From 2000 to 2004, served as Advisor to the Minister at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Armenia.
Since 2004, has been working as a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration at the Armenian State University of Economics.
Author of approximately 20 published scientific works, textbooks, and educational materials.
