Doctor of Economics, Senior Lecturer at the Chair of Management and Business of the Institute of Economics and Business of RAU.
2013: graduation with honors from school No. 55 named after A.P. Chekhov (Yerevan, Armenia).
2016: graduation with honors from RAU-affiliated “Usmunk” school (Yerevan, Armenia).
2020: graduation with honors from RAU (Bachelor’s Degree in Management).
2022: graduation with honors from RAU (Master’s Degree in Strategic Management).
2025: graduation with honors from RAU (Postgraduate Program specializing in 08.00.02 – Economics, Management of the Economy and Its Spheres).
On July 8, 2025, Izabella K. Manukyan successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Cluster Approach as a Significant Prerequisite for the Development of Regional Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (Based on the Materials of the RA)”, under the supervision of Doctor of Economics, Professor Arzik M. Suvaryan.
On September 25, 2025, by the decision of the RA Supreme Certifying Committee, Izabella K. Manukyan was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Economics.
Izabella has been involved in research since the period of undergraduate studies. An active participant of scientific conferences and trainings, Manukyan I.K. is the author of more than 25 scientific articles, most of which were published in the EU, USA and UK, as well as a co-author of 1 collective monograph and 1 university textbook.
Holder of the title of The Best Student of the year of RAU, two-time winner of the scholarship named after Academician A. Aganbegyan, winner of the scientific work competition organized by IBS Americas (Brazil), State University of New York (USA), CSUN (USA), Pearson College London (UK) and CUOA Business School (Italy) with a research on the topic “3 Scenarios for the Covid-19 pandemic in 2021: How to plan the future of your company when the quarantine ends?”, winner of the VIII International competition of research articles “Genesis of Entrepreneurship: from the Origins to Modern Times”, organized by the Financial University under the Government of the RF, with a study on the topic “Problems and prospects for encountering the challenges of the digital era in the Republic of Armenia”.
Since 2021, Izabella has been lecturing at the Chair of Management and Business of the Institute of Economics and Business of RAU. Izabella is the Reviewer of the “Journal of Eastern European and Central Asian Research”, based in Minnesota (USA), which is indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. She is also the Reviewer of another research scientific journal based in Nevada (USA).
Izabella improved her qualifications with honors at the International College of Management in Sydney and confirmed her knowledge of English with honors at the summer school of the University of Cambridge (UK).
She has completed a range of international professional development courses and seminars in digital transformation, strategic management, research networking, and responsible management in education, with certificates issued by EU4Digital Academy, Elsevier, IBS Academy, the British Council, PRME (UN), and other international organizations.
Izabella pursues an academic career in research and teaching alongside her professional work in the private sector.
