Brief information (biography)
Born in 1950 in Baku.
From 1967 to 1972 studied at the Yerevan State University and received the qualification of an economist.
In 1972-1975 worked at the Abovyan factory «Izmeritel» as an engineer-economist, as a software engineer.
In 1975 was a senior economist at the Abovyan association «Kotayk».
In the years 1975-1985 worked as a senior economist at Yerevan Electric Equipment Plant, and then as a Chief Accountant.
In the years 1985-1991 worked at Council of Ministers of the Armenian USSR as the chief accountant.
From 1991 to 1993 worked in the Committee on State Property Governance, Deputy Chairman and First Deputy Chairman.
From 1993 to 1997 worked as the Head of the Department in the Department of State Property of Armenia.
From 1997 to 2000 held the post of Minister of State Property Governance of Armenia.
From 2001 to present is the Deputy Chairman of the State Commission for the protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia.
Carries out teaching activities in the Russian-Armenian University since 2004, and at the Department of Economic Theory and the Issues of Transition Period Economies – since its foundation.
