Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Management and Business at the Institute of Economics and Business of the Russian-Armenian University.

Born on July 2, 1951. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Yerevan State University in 1972. Completed postgraduate studies at the Department of Labour Economics at Yerevan State University in 1979. Defended his Candidate's thesis at Moscow State University in 1981. Completed professional development courses at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Lyon, France, in 1994. Received the title of Doctor of Sciences in 2009.

A.M. Suvaryan has extensive practical experience in the Armenian banking sector (ArmAgroBank, VTB Armenia, AraratBank). He has held positions as deputy chairman, board chairman, and board member for over 10 years. He is the author of around 100 published scientific works, textbooks, and educational-methodical guides. His main works are devoted to management theory issues and the development of commercial bank strategies. Under his scientific supervision, he has prepared 5 Candidates of Economic Sciences, and he currently supervises 4 postgraduate students.
