Narine Aharonyan

About

Narine Aharonyan (born in 1978) is an Associate Professor. Her research interests include probability theory, mathematical statistics, as well as integral and stochastic geometry. She received her higher education at Yerevan State University, Faculty of Mathematics, in 1994–1999, graduating as a qualified specialist. In 2009, she defended her PhD (Candidate of Sciences) dissertation in Physical and Mathematical Sciences at Yerevan State University; her academic supervisor was Viktor Karoevich Ohanyan, and the topic of her research was “Averaging of combinatorial decompositions.” She is fluent in Armenian, Russian, and English. Since 2005, she has been working at Yerevan State University as an Associate Professor at the Chair of Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics.
